WELCOME TO THE 2023 GISSA ‘SENIOR’ BOYS DIV.2 AFL CHAMPIONSHIPS. THIS YEAR WE CONTINUE WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY STAND-ALONE MATCHES AMONGST THE COMPETING SCHOOLS.

RULES:

• MSI will provide Field umpires for these games.
• Each School is to provide a Boundary and Goal Umpire please.
• Matches will be played over 2x20minute halves.
• If scores are level at the end of the game a further 3minutes will be played. If scores are still tied, then play will continue until the next score is achieved (either a goal or behind) and that will end the game.
• A size 5 leather football will be used – Schools are to bring their own match ball.
• ‘Last touch rule’ will be enforced for these games.
• Schools to have a team Runner, who is to wear a fluro vest, or Club runners top.
• Mouthguards must be worn
