IGGYS GO BACK-TO-BACK
The football program at St. Ignatius College Geelong continues to go from strength in the upper secondary levels.
For the second year in a row, the red, white and navy blue machine once again rolled over the competition to claim an empathic victory at the GISSA Inter Male Championships.
In their two pool games, the Iggys Year 9 + 10 boys squad scored an incredible combined total of 31.17 (203) to just 2.1 (13), including one opposition scoreless.
It was a mighty display that ensured that Iggys stormed into the Grand Final against the other undefeated Team of the tournament – Iona College, who also only conceded just four goals against their Pool B opponents.
Iona’s purple blaze ended at the grand final, however, with Iggys securing the Trophy with a convincing 54 point win.
