BOYS IN BLUE DO IT AGAIN ON HOME TURF

Kardinia International College has added another Soccer trophy to their cabinet after their Senior Male Team emerged victorious on another thrilling day of round ball action.

Coming into the Event as heavy favourites, the boys in blue did not disappoint, defending the same title they won last year in front of their fellow students and staff at the host Venue.

Kardinia defeated St. Ignatius 4-1 in the Final to claim the title, which was a significant achievement given the boys in blue were held to a 2-2 draw by a different St. Ignatius Team in a Pool A qualifying match-up between the two Schools earlier in the day.

Overall, the quality of Soccer on exhibition was fantastic, and all students who participated should be very proud of the effort they showed. 

In all, a total of 27 goals found their way into the back of the net across the 10 matches of abbreviated time, highlighting the incredible talent that we have in our GISSA Schools.
