GISSA NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Date – Friday 26th May 2023

Venue – Geelong Sports Hub, South Geelong.

GISSA Schools involved: Christian College (CCG), St Ignatius College (SIC), Kardinia IC (KIC), Geelong Lutheran College (GLC), Covenant (COV), Geelong Baptist College (GBC) and Clonard College (CLO).

The 2023 Senior Girls Netball Championships will have school teams allocated to 3 ‘Pools’ –

refer below.

• Pool ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ matches, and Finals are to be played as 4×8 minute quarters, with a 2-3minute break between each quarter.
• Umpires to be provided by Geelong Sports Hub.
• ‘Emergency Medical Response Group Victoria’ will provide First Aid on the day.
• Presentations will occur at 2:00pm
• Team Entries: Christian College (CCG), St Ignatius College (SIC) x 2, Kardinia IC (KIC) x 2, Geelong Lutheran College (GLC), Covenant (COV)and Clonard College (CLO) x 2

GISSA Senior Girls Finals

The winner of each pool and the highest rank 2nd team (based on wins and highest %) in any of the 3 pools will qualify for the semi-final.

The 4 teams that qualify for the semi will be ranked 1 to 4 based on wins and percentage and the following fixture will result in the semi-finals.
